Don’t have a Mac with Thunderbolt or USB3? Don’t worry, with this new adapter you can connect G-Drive EV hard drives to older Macs via your Firewire port. The adapter slots into the Sata port of the 500GB or 1TB G-Drive EV and turns it into a Firewire hard drive giving you transfer speeds of up to 6GB / min. This adapter has 2 x FireWire 800 ports so you can daisy chain multiple Firewire devices. Please note hard drives are sold separately.
